Barrabool Shire Honour Rolls 1 & 2

Located  –  28 Hesse Street, Former Shire Hall, now Tea Rooms, Winchelsea, 3241

Commemorating residents of the district who enlisted and served overseas the original Barrabool Honour Roll was unveiled by Council in 1915 with the names of 39 young men. A month later Council passed a motion to prepare another honour board as there was not enough room to add another 60 names. Over time the two board have accumulated 123 names in total.
